League Of Legends: Spirit Blossom 2020 Missions And Rewards
The next League of Legends event is finally arriving after Pulsefire 2020 previously ended over a month ago. From July 22nd to August 24th, Spirit Blossom 2020 is a summer celebration that brings back missions, prizes, and the Nexus Blitz game mode for participating players.
Spirit Blossom 2020 centers around the Ionian Spirit Blossom skins which are canon in League of Legends' lore. After a brief tease during this year's Anime Expo Lite stream, the skins were slowly revealed and culminated with a teaser video last week previewing Spirit Blossom's themes. While veteran players should be familiar with the reward structure, there are several different elements compared to past events.

Instead of traditional missions, 10 Spirit Bonds will be forged during Spirit Blossom 2020. To start, players need to click on each champion's picture to meet them and begin earning favor, the point system for different rewards. Make sure to talk to all the available portraits immediately since favor won't count for champions that haven't been spoken to.
By playing League of Legends matches, favor can be earned from wins or losses.
Win a Summoner's Rift, ARAM, or Nexus Blitz game - 2 favor
Lose a Summoner's Rift, ARAM, or Nexus Blitz game - 1 favor
Win a TFT game by placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th - 4 favor
Lose a TFT game by placing 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th - 2 favor
Players can get more favor for Spirit Blossom champions by playing as them.
Play a champion equipped with their Spirit Blossom skin in Summoner's Rift or Nexus Blitz - 3 favor for that champion
Play a champion that has a Spirit Blossom skin in Summoner's Rift or moba gamezone gaming blog Nexus Blitz - 1 favor for that champion
Play a champion equipped with their Spirit Blossom skin in ARAM - 6 favor for that champion
Play a champion that has a Spirit Blossom skin in ARAM - 3 favor for that champion
Additionally, the Spirit Blossom champions have unique tasks in League of Legends and TFT that reward players with more favor for accomplishing them.
Thresh: Get a 35+ CC score on Summoner's Rift or ARAM (10 favor), Play a 2-star Thresh in TFT (8 favor)
Riven: Get a double, triple, quadra, or pentakill on Summoner's Rift or ARAM (4, 7, 10, 12 favor), Eliminate a player in TFT (4 favor)
Vayne: Get 5, 8, 12, 15, or 20 kills on Summoner's Rift or ARAM (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 favor), Play a 3 or 6 of a kind in TFT (1 or 4 favor)
Teemo: Get a 35+ vision score on Summoner's Rift (4 favor), Make a Spatula item in TFT (4 favor)
Cassiopeia: Deal 28,000+ damage to champions (7 favor), Play 1 or 2 3-star units in TFT (1 or 4 favor)
Lillia : Win with 15+ takedowns on Summoner's Rift (5 favor), Place at least 4th in a TFT random galaxy (2 favor)
Ahri: Finish a game as Ahri with 0, 1, 2, or 3 deaths on Summoner's Rift or ARAM (8, 3, 2, or 1 favor), Make a 3-star Ahri in TFT (4 favor)
Yasuo: Get a 1, 3, 6, 9, or 12 kill streak as Yasuo on Summoner's Rift or ARAM (2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 favor), Play a 3 or 6 Rebel bonus in TFT (2 or 4 favor)
Kindred: Kill 1, 3, or 5 Epic Monsters on Summoner's Rift (1, 2, or 3 favor), Survive until Round 5-7 against Kayn in TFT (4 favor)
In the returning Nexus Blitz game mode, there are bonus tasks for one specific Spirit Blossom champion during a random event that occurs every few minutes. Note that each one awards 3 favor upon completion for that champion.
Thresh: Participate and be on the surviving team in Push the Cart
Riven: Participate and be on the winning team in Prize Fight
Vayne: Participate and be on the winning team in King of the Hill
Teemo: Be on the team that last hits the Loot Goblin (Teemo or Veigar)
Cassiopeia: Participate and be on the winning team in DPS Race
Lillia: Participate and be on the winning team in Protect the Soraka Bot
Ahri: Participate and be on the winning team in URF Deathmatch
Yasuo : Participate and be on the winning team in Bardle Royale
Kindred: Participate and be on the winning team in Scuttle Racing
Besides getting to know each champion better, gaining favor also unlocks up to 4 tiers of rewards for everyone.

Rank S (100 favor) - 15 Spirit Blossom Tokens
In total, reaching Rank S with every champion will award 300 free Spirit Blossom Tokens.
After forging all Spirit Bonds, players will have enough tokens to get 1 free choice of most items in the shop.

If players need more tokens to purchase items, they can buy the Spirit Blossom Pass for 1650 RP. Purchasing the pass will automatically add 4 Kanmei Orbs and 200 Spirit Blossom Tokens. However they also get 25 tokens for each Spirit Bond rank for a total of 1000 extra Spirit Blossom Tokens. Finally, the pass also unlocks Milestone rewards and tokens for every match played during the event.

While the complexity of Spirit Blossom 2020 may be initially confusing, Spirit Bonds are just slightly renamed missions with a similar progression system. And there seems to be more to this Ionian festival and summer event than described so far, as several Spirit Blossom skins are releasing at a later date along with Yone, the presumed masked man from the teaser .
